handling diff- 15 vs 16, same brand tires?

Debating on whether to get new rubber for my 15" sawblades, or move up (if you call it that) to 16 " factory 5-stars. Assuming I've got the same brand summer tires (haven't decided on them yet) for both wheels:
215/60-15 and 225/55-16
Will I see a major difference between the two? On the 16s, I'll have just a bit more width, and just a bit lower profile sidewall. I'll be doing this at the same time I switch to Illuminas with 1.25" drop Tokico springs (the Tokico box set).

Thanks.

I'm talking about handling only here, not worried about acceleration and weight etc. Also, I'm not going to be taking the Max to the track and running slaloms.
