Hankook Ventus R-S2 good auto-x tire?

Has anybody tired or heard any good about the Hankook Ventus R-S2 compared to the Azenis Sport or the new Azenis RT-615? I am interested cause they come in 245 45 16, perfect for third gen RX-7 wheels.

Just picked mine up today. Feel's pretty grippy to the touch but the sidewall is soft (as expected). I'll report back in a couple weeks. Folks in Atlanta proved they're as good as anything out there in the right hands.

Actually, the inside tire industry info is that the Korean Tire Manufacturer not only has been producing some 20,000 tire for the new 2005 Ford F-150 trucks but has been approached by Michelin and Goodyear to produce a series of tuner market tires overseas where the lets say labor market is open.
No minimum wage or Unions to worry about, get my drift. Although highly mentioned in November 2004 Consumer Report Magazine, the Hankook Tire Company has not been given what I would consider a great deal of line coverage for the car manufacturer's. The tuner market has been greatly growing for years and Hankook has strived on this market.

I've used them this season for auto-x. As stated above, the sidewall is kind of soft so I run fairly high pressures, but I've been extremely happy with the grip. I have a VERY tough time breaking them loose....I would say they are very good tires for auto-x but might be a bit on the soft side for higher-speed road racing.

Also, you can't beat the price. Try www.edgeracing.com
