8.5" unless you want staggered setup.

I would get either 8 all around or 8 front and 9 back

19"x8" is a common size used by many on this fourm, including myself.

I think 19x9 at all four corners would work @ 30mm offsets....255/35/19 is the tire you want....

just for reference...I am 8.5 wide @ 42mm offset with 245/40/18....i am slammed over 3.5 inches from stock...and my fronts rub slightly only when locked out to the left....I think if I got my rims in 35mm offset...they wouldn't rub at all...

I would go with 8.5" ... That's just IMO though.

Won't fit properly on the front with that offset and tire.
If you had a lower offset, you could possibly rub more. Because the outer edge of the wheel/tire is farther away from the steering axis, so it swings in a wider arc when you turn the wheel. Torque steer under acceleration and braking would also be more pronounced.

mad wayz: go with the 8" and avoid fitment issues.

thats weird? I've seen a 5th gen with 9 wides in the front with 265's and a 35 offset...perfect fit and no problems from what I heard. So I assume that with maybe 30-35ish offset with a thinner 255 width...it would clear okay....

I had a 4th gen with 245's and 8.5 wide rims....it cleared perfectly fine....I don't see how a 5th gen with a bigger fender wheel well can't add 255's on 9 wide rims......

No sweat. Yeah, my wheels are 19"x8" with 245/35/19 Nitto 555 tires. I am lowed on Maxspeed springs with OEM struts (for the time being).
