Stock Chrome SE Rims

Does anyone know where I can purchase these rims besides from my nissan dealer? They're probably like 2k from them, don't want to spend that much, just really like the stock ones. They don't have to have the nissan logo, just want them to look exactly like this. I found this pic in the sticky thread "6th gen pride pics" but the owner of this maxima was not listed. Thanks.

You can swap your OEM rims with the crome ones at the dealer for about 950 dollars. You could also search the web for crome shops. Later Warren

Bah, you beat me to it. All in all, it will either cost you close to $1k w/ shipping for the wheel exchange depending on location PLUS you will be w/o wheels for a week or two.

Your best bet might be to keep an active eye on eBay, but if you are going to pay that much for wheels, might as well go aftermarket.

Yea, I noticed that exchange program on ebay, but I currently have the 6 spoke ones like in your link, but I want 5 star ones. I was actually looking at those Diablo Lionhart ones like 5 minutes ago. Do you have a zoomed out picture of the entire car that I can see those on? And where did you buy them? I like those.

Thanks

Ace & Axis make a VERY wide array of 5-spoked wheels...I would recommend checking those out.

You're not without wheels, that's what the deposit is for. You send them like 800 extra dollars, they send you the new wheels first, you swap em out, send your old ones back, and they give you back the 800. I'm liking those diablo's now though :P

if you want oem, Jerry Rome Nissan may still have their 25% off sales. that's buy 3 get 1 free. can't beat that for a dealer.

To tell you the truth when I brought them I didn't ask for the style name. I just saw them and liked them. I had them installed in Florida and the total cost was 1000 dollars. Later Warren

Do any of you guys have the rims I was referring to. I saw a 04 maxi on ebay with them it is on my desktop... I was wondering if it was cheaper to just chrome dip mine and how well it will hold up.

Im not feeling the beveled spokes on the OEM chrome rim...but it would solve the problem of these wheels having a tendancy to hit road debris.
Jayz - If givin org members advice on how to get the cheapest deal qualifies one to be a mod, I agree with you.

92Max, I have 05 SE with chromed oem 6poke wheels. Just put em on 4 days ago. Got them off of ebay and I didn't even have to exchange them, so I still have me non-chromed 6spokes sitting in the garage.

There are several dealers that do this kind of thing, my total plus shipping was $620. I don't think you can get after market chrome for cheaper than that. The average cost for this kind of thing on ebay is $700. If you look around on ebay, you can find a good deal.

Thank you Apollos2 for you info, that was very helpful. Have you ever heard of anyone getting their wheels chrome dipped? I wonder how much that is, and how well it holds up...

Well, I think you wanna look for triple chrome plated. Copper/Nickel/Chrome. There is a local place that would do my wheels for $600 but it was only double plated. (Told me that no one does triple plating any more)

But here is just one example of at least claims to do triple chrome plating.
http://www.lawheel.com/chrome.htm

I didn't go with LA Wheel though, because they wanted $550 plus $160 shipping. There are other dealers on Ebay as well.

I can only guess they will hold up as well as we take care of them, defects aside. Chromed wheels usually care some kind of warranty too.
