can I get these rims to fit?
I am going to be able to get a set of never used stock scion TC rims and tires. the bolt pattern on my max is 5x114 and the TC rims are 5x100. I was told that there is no way that I can get the TC rims bolt holes bored out. they said that it had to be exact but when I put my stock rims on there is play and the studs dont fit into the hole with 0 clearance. thats why the lug nuts are curved inward at the ends to make the fit tight.

what do you think I only asked one guy at the local discount tires store so I wanted to see what other people say about this. can I get them bored out by a PRO. to fit onto my car?

Because they are the wrong bolt pattern. Period.

but its just the size of the stud. why cant I get the hole for the stud bored out???
