im just so into chrome and especially big chrome. i really honestly dont get why everyone (generally) on the org dispises chrome. the max is not a ricey race car, so dont put 3 piece ultra light wheels on it.

so honestly, not to start anything, why don't you like them? is it the style? or simply the fact that they are chrome?

Well why are you asking for people's opinion? If you like them then screw everyone else and just get them. It's your $ and your car. I know I put whatever I want on my car. I get my fair share of haters also. But I stand by my choices and everyone else can jump off a clif.

Yeah, Jeff, those G35 rims look like azz. The 350z track rims, too. Just give them to me and I'll find them a good home.

Those big old chrome rims look like crap, IMO. there are a lot of guys that pull off chrome very well, but those rims look ghetto. You don't have to have "racing" style rims to look classy.

and Jeff- its not that i care about anyone's opinion, but i was excited about the chop and i wanted to know what the consensus is. it has no weight in my decision, but i was curious

Those wheels get a big thumbs down from me. If you want opinions mine is to look for some other wheels. They look pretty retarded, on both cars.

That was NOT the picture to post if you're trying to show these rims to people!!! The rims, IMO, look bad. But not as bad as the car that they're mounted on in that picture. In all honesty, if you like them, go and get them. Who cares what everybody else thinks. But, it seems like everybody here would rather walk than have these things on their cars.

I like chrome, also (easy to care for). I doubt very many here would like mine, but I do. I don't care for that rim you are thinking about because I like something more simple and subtle. Don't know anything about quality of that brand, but then I didn't know anything about the rims I chose and they are fine (4 years and no problems). If you like them, go for it.

that is a waste of an STI if i ever saw one.... no one is going to go "4 wheelin" with rims like that

additionally, those rims look like they weigh a crap load, and would completly hurt acceleration, breaking, and gas mileage

Those rims are okay, they really don't do anything for the car but the only thing that matters is if you like them or not.

My question is if you are going to spend alot of money on wheels why wouldnt you get a wheel that is performance based... why not get light wheels that actually make your car go faster but still look good instead of heavy and flashy.
