Will these fit...?

Will these fit on a 1997 Maxima?

Front - 18x8.5 +40 235/40/18
Rear - 18x9.5 +40 285/35/18

I think the front will be fine ..... I think the rear wheel will fit.... but you may need to go with a smaller tire.... I was able to run a 275/40/17 on a 17x9.5 +38 without rubbing .... however it was only for a week or so and I never loaded the car up with people ect.... during that time

yea dude i think they will fit but im almost postive you'll need some smaller tires.

I understand running wider tires on the rear of a rear wheel drive car, but why on a front wheel drive?

just to ensure that you have terminal understeer.... lol ... however it looks kinda cool
