Does anybody have any serious miles on either the Kumho ASX or Avon M550? I checked the tirerack reviews and the Avon's especially don't have too many spirited reviews w/ over 4k miles. I'm trying to get a better idea of how they wear, as a bunch of 500-2k mile reviews don't help much. If you can help in this area, it'd be most appreciated. The Kumho is appealing for price and because it outperformed the M550 on the tirerack test, but the Avon seems to get better reviews, albeit w/ less miles on the tires. Thanks.

 

i got asx tires and i love them, super quiet and grip great in rain/dry weather. i got bout 3k on mine i think and the tread wear is minimal. i got them because of the quietness and the reviews and the fact that i would need an all weather tire because it snows in march and october here in ohio.

 

somebody else has to have put some miles on either of these. no comments?
