Chrome will never play out are you s****d, Painted wheels are a fad that will fade out as quick as they came, I was going to paint the ones on my car sterling mist but diddn't, It so hard to sell painted rims. I offer ppg painted centers for these rims along with powder coating, polished and or brushed with clearcoating. Chrome or Polished lips. Prices Vary for Application

If you built those wheels yourself, MAJOR PROPS to you Personally, I don't like chrome but it is great to see someone with innovation on the site.

Those rims are a little too big and a little too busy for my taste. I prefer polished aluminum btw.

Yeah, they look like E46 M3 wheels except in chrome. If they were polished I'd be more interesed. Not a big fan of chrome.

 

Too much over the top for me. I like chrome but those wheels don't do anything for a Max, imho. I have gun metal rims and what I don't like about them is that the finsih can come off too easily by your friendly Goodwrench guy/gal when they remove your tires to lie about your pending repair. Chrome is a much harder finish and is not damaged easily. Aluminum is my favorite because it's a solid metal, looks cool and is not too flashy. In NY I like to keep the outside of my car looking plain so the local criminals look elswhere for their spoils.

 

Actually all the designs are nice and would look great on any car, just not mine... Do your thing bro, however I agree, don't be spamming the threads or someone might send you on a little vacation...

Chrome's where it's at down here in the dirty south. It's funny that the majority of the posts that say chrome is played out are from people up North. Chrome looks awesome on a black maxima, but it's gotta be classy and simple. It accentuates the door handles and window trim. They just can't be too ghetto with crazy designs. These wheels, IMO, are way too busy and just don't look right (again, IMO) on a Maxima.

I love how people are so quick to yell out that chrome wheels are gay. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's all personal preference and If you like chrome, then you like chrome. Simple. Not everyone has the same taste, so dumb comments like that should be kept to yourself. Everybody is entitled to voice their opinion, but lets be a little mature about it! BTW good job on making your own wheels, they look pretty good. Maybe a nice drop on the ride would compliment the wheels a little more.

 

Chrome is Ghetto .Only on SUV they don't look bad.

I have chromies on my 03 black max - but switching to hypersilver. Point is that rims are such a personal thing I wouldn't sweat the negative feedback - I think they look clean nonetheless.
