Tire Question

After three years it's time to get new tires. I have a 96 Max with 16" OEM five spokes P215 55 R16. I was wondering what's a good all weather tire?

Tire

Check this site out. Do a little drilling. They have extensive user reviews and ratings of tires every which way you can imagine and it allows you sort based on criteria once you get into the area you are looking for. It's the best site I have seen for this type of shopping. http://www.tirerack.com

I just bought a set of Yokohama Avid H4S two weeks ago at a blowout price. The shop deemed them to be an odd size (215/60/15) and was reducing inventory. I got them for Cdn$80 and they will be restocked at Cdn$147 (plus tax and mounting).

They replaced the OEM Goodyear Eagle RSAs at 61k (11 years old) which would have lasted another 5K if we had been going into spring/summer rather than fall/winter.

It was a toss up between the H4S and BF Goodrich Traction TA (H-rated), with cost being the final determining factor. Two things that concerned me about the Traction TAs: they are heavier and I've read some complaints about fuel economy on tirerack.
