255/40/18's on 18x8's ?

Main question is here, will there be serious rubbing issues on an 8 inch Rim with a 35mm offset? I know the 245's will go just fine without rubbing and a subtle drop.

What about the 255's

I would go 235s and if you must have more rubber, 245s

Damn Rich you just can't get enough can you.

245 tops. Otherwise your 40 profile will look too big.

You probably know this already, but the recommended rim width is at least 8.5" for 255/40/18's...
