Hate to beat a dead horse 215_55_16 Tire recommendations
I know every other week someone is asking what tires to get. So, this is no different. However, I've had Falkens, Bridgestones, Dunlops, and the POS Goodyears that came with the car. As you can tell, I do like to switch up and try new things but, out of the 4 manufacturers mentioned, I prefered the Dunlops. Recently a salesman was swearing by the Toyo Proxys 4. Does anyone have experience with those or any other info. I may want to consider?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Where do you live?
The Toyo Proxes 4 are supposed to be an excellent tire. However, they are not sold by tirerack and I don't know where you would go for customer reviews on them, perhaps 1010.
I just bought Yokohama Avid H4S and would have considered the Proxes 4, but they do not fit my 15" sawblade rims, which I am in no hurry to get rid of.
Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S are often spoken of in the same breath as the Proxes 4.

i'm looking at this exact size(225/50/16) for my 97 5 star stock SE wheels. Do you think it will fit? OE is 215/55/16.
