New tires for 18 inch rims

What's the best (on sale or discount or even cheap) tires that I can get with my 350 Z rims... I'm riding on these for the winter so I need some good traction snow tires... I just need to know where I can get a good deal cause these are on just for the winter and nothing permanent. Thanks all...

also should i get 245/40/18 tires?
or 235/40/18

Thanks!

I got Sumitomos, but if i replaced them, I would opt for Yokohamas probably. They have a been a very good high performance tire for many years.

I got a set of these too. They're OK on the 18". Not quieter comparing w/ new RSAs. Braking improves quite a bit. Balancing will be tricky so ask your installer to do a careful job. Traction is quite good. The two things I don't like:
* Hard side-wall. Must be good for handling but tough on your behind. The design looks tough but not really nice.
* Prone to flat-spots. The Max is the car that will let you know. Not just in the cool morning but also after paking for 4-5 hours. I need to pump 5-6psi more to minimize it. But the hard side-wall will purnish my back and the road-feel goes down.
I almost got the Falken Azenis. But after looking at my friend's Caddy-STS, I decided not to. The guy hasn't gotten his license plate and the Azenis are almost bald.
Tirerack can let you dropship at a choosen installer. But if you have a local Discount Tires or American Tires store, give them a call and they will price match and order the tires for you (local taxes will be considerred during matching). The out-the-door price will include life-time rotate/balancing (a must for our Max), repair and warranty.
