Crap, I think i bought the wrong wheels

I purchased a set of rota subzeros and tried putting them on. The lugs didnt go on all the way so im not sure if its the wrong offset or they require special lugs. The rotas are 5X114.3, +48 offset. Should i bother buying special lugs or just sell them?

Not necessarily - I use stock type nuts on my Slipstreams. Maybe the lug bolt is too long and a closed nut is running out of thread? Open ended nuts solve that problem.
