Best dry performance tire?

Best dry performance tire?
Ah, heck with Azenis and BFG KD's. Now it's time to get serious.
265 Kumho V710 on the left, 245 Hoosier A3S03 on the right. I'm rather disappointed in the 265 once I received as it's far more rounded on the edges and the treadwidth isn't that much wider. The 245 is 6lbs less so that's what I'm gonna mount first.

You should be aware that those tires are like "crack" once you walk that way nothing will be the same Just for comparsion at the state championship this year, 2 expert drivers in BMW 330s ... 2 dr on Hoosiers and 4dr on 710s. They swapped the lead back and forth with the 710s winning by .02 sec.

So you think I might feel a grip difference between a 225 street tire and a 265 R compound? Me too. You're right the whole Hoosier vs Kumho thing is now a toss up with temps & sizing being the key factors.
The 265's are kinda like driving on a piece of history. They're off of RyanC's Honda who took 2nd place in SSC at the SCCA Runoff's this year. Speedchannel is playing it next Sat the 17th granted he ran Hoosiers for that event.
