I have a 5th gen and I just got some new wheels. They have tires already (225/45/17 and 235/45/17), but I am thinking about getting some new tires. They are 8 inches in the front and 9 inches wide in the rear. Is a 40 profile too thin? I can get some of these for around 80 bucks each:

Give me some honest opinions. Thanks!

Yeah, those are great, but I can't get those for $80 apiece!

Van, according to the tire calculator, your speedo won't be off by alot...only about 2.3%...its gonna be a ruff ride cuz of less sidewall...but i'm sure oklahoma roads are smooth right?
