Calling all 4th gens with 5th gen wheels!

OK i have to admit, i have the gxe wheels on my '97 still. I'm thinking about switching over to a 17'' SE 5th gen wheel. I plan on not dropping my car however, so will it look weird w/o a drop? any pics? tips? Also what size tires would you recommend? Thanks!

OEM size for the 5th gen wheels is 225/50/17. Some run 235/45/17, but that's up to the individual to go beyond spec. Going from 16" to 17" shouldn't really add too much to the wheel gap.

We have a 4th gen (96')Maxima and our son hit a curb and bent 2 wheels(15" steel). Will other gen wheels fit on a 4th gen?
Thanks
