Anything stronger than Aircraft Paint Remover?

I sprayed a bunch of aircraft paint remover on my rims that I just bought and the paint just won't come off like it does in the 4th gen write up. The paint just sticks and most of the paint I have removed is due to the sanding attachment I have used in conjunction with my drill. Any other chemicals or techniques? I thought about sandblasting but I fear pitting and also that this is suppose to be another cheap project.

If all else fails, glass bead blasting is less harsh than sand blasting.
