dropped with tein -techs Kosei K1 TS ...

my car is lowered with tein s-techs and I bought some Kosei K1 TS sized 17x8. I had a set of yokohoma tires on them that I believed may have been rubbing on the side towards the center of the car. The tires were sorta oversized, and I'll post the exact size later, but what size would be safe to run on these rims??
thanks poeple!

235/45 would make the speedometer read 2.1% too fast. If you want to go with a wider tire, a 245/45 would be closer to stock size, and only throw off your speedo by 0.7%.

This is mostly talking about the height? I should have specified, the rubbings occurs because the the rim tire combp is too wide.

245-45-17, but I am also dropped with s-techs. I'll have to double check the rubbing marks, as they could have been caused by somehing else.
