What wheel spacers
with a 7.5 i don't think you need a spacer, but if you still want one i would recommend a 5mm kit from H&R. just be carefull with rubbing on the top of the fender. i had 18x9 in the back of my Max (selling them now) but during heavy suspension travel, the tires sidewall would rub on the inner lip of the fender. i banged that lip almost flush with the fender and i never had a problem again. i'm running 17x8 in the back now so thats no longer an issue. i have a brand new H&R 5mm kit for the Max if your interested. bought it to see if i could make my TSW's clear the BlehmCO Big Brake kit i bought, but it didn't so i never used it. let me know.
5mm is more than i thought. i put these up front w/ some 17x8 TSW Hockenheim R's and they where sticking out the wheel wells. needless to say i had to take them off. never tried them on the back though.
in your case you'd want them in the back. i was only trying to see if i could get my TSW's to clear the big brake kit i installed. needless to say, they didn't clear, so i've got a big brake kit and an H&R kit sitting in the garage. as far as the studs, easy install if you have an impact gun, a spacer, or a stack off washers. just remove your brake rotor to gain access to your hub, put a closed end lug nut back on each stud to give you more surface area, grab a big arss hammer and start knockin. for the longer ones to be installed you may need to loosen up your hud mount bolts if you need more clearance to line up your new studs. if you do, get all your stud in place then tighten up your hub bolts. once the studs are all in place, you now have to seat them, or suck them through. find a washer that fits nicely over your studs, throw it on one, hand thread a open ended lug nut on the stud with the washer (try to seat the lug nut to the washer to avoid any problems), engage your impacts deep well socket with the lug nut, slowly start tightening, speeding up only when you know the stud is going through straight. once the stud is seated, unleash hell on the rest of em. if you dont have an impact, it's alot more tiring and time consuming, but possible. you would need a spacer or a stack of washers that fit nicely over your stud. place either your spacer or washers on the stud and bottom out a lug nut against the spacer or washers and turn it to pull the stud into place. if you don't have any of the above items, you can just run an open ended lug nut all the way down the stud. simple stuff. oh, don't forget anti-seize on the threads. that'll make things easier.
