Another Bridgestone Potenza G009 review

Heavy, hard, okay-gripping tires. Great in the wet but nothing special in the dry or the snow.

I used to have Continental ContiExtremeContact all around in 205/65/15. I was perfectly happy with them as good all-season tires, but one of my fronts bubbled and I had to replace them in a HURRY so I ended up with the Bridgestones. They're clearly very well-made, and better in the wet as I said, but I definitely would not buy them again. They just don't grip well enough in the dry, and they're too heavy -- about 4 lbs heavier per tire than the Contis -- which seriously affects my braking and ride.

I can't have put more than 20k miles on them and they're almost at the wear bars. They're coming off as soon as I can justify it.
