45 will look better, 50 will ride better. ive been on my 45's for a while now and im tired of the hard performance tires, so im making the switch to a grand touring tire.. im debating also if i should go up to a 50 to try and compensate for the softer sidewalls when it comes to hitting potholes.

TIRE PROFILE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR DROP....it has to do with overall diameter.

For the 2002 GLE rims the correct size is 225/50/17.
