Hankook Ventus RS2 Z212, shaved....

thought I'd post a link to this in the tires section so anyone who doesn't go in the autocross forum would see them and see what it means if a tire is "shaved"

$60 for all 4 of them....

I got them from frisbyrace.com (a place that specializes in racing tires), but tirerack can also shave tires, also for $15 per tire.

How long do those usually last? Enough for a whole season or two of autocrossing? Another stupid question..what is the advantage between shaved/unshaved tires when used in an autocross event?
