235's on a 7.5" wheel?

I just bought a set of NA 300zx wheels which are 16x7.5. They have 225/50 tires on them, and judging by others, putting 235's on them shoudlnt' be a problem. Just wanted feedback if i could. Thank you in advance.

The rim widths recommended for 235/50R16 tires are 6.5-8.5 inches.

I'm sure you can even squeeze 245s on that 7.5 if you wanted too...

heck, stock 2k4 maximas have that setup...I don't see why you can't do it...

6th gen OEM SE rims are 18x7.5 with a 245/45-R18 tyre. You should be able to put a 235 on there without any issue.

here's your options 225/50/16... 235/50/16.... 245/50/16... or 245/45/16. The 245/45 is rec of 8" but I have seen alot of Z32s with them on the 7.5s. The 245/45s are 3/10s of an inch shorter than the 225/50s, so if your looking to colse the fender gap a little don't go for that size. The 235/50 is kind of hard to find and only limited brands. I was thinking of using the 245/50 next time.
