suggestions please.....

Just bought some wheels from a fellow org. member. I have a problem though and I'm hoping you guys can help me with it. the wheels are RPM 505 Hypersilvers. 18 x 8 with 235/40/18 Falken tires. As you can see below, the front axle sticks out past the wheel not allowing me to put the center caps on, I measured the distance it would take and it is right about 9/16th of a inch. Is there anything I can do? He said he didn't have any problems and that it looks better without the center caps. uhhhh.....yeah, nothing like having the axle thread coming out half an inch past the wheel. I was think about a spacer, but I don't want my tires sticking out past my fenders...... sigh.... dammit I hate this!!!! please give me some feedback on this.

hhhmmmm.. never ran into that problem before, but maybe a small spacer would help? Wheels look pretty good, looked better without centercaps?? What was he thinking!

Sorry I can't help you, but I just wanna say those wheels look awfully identical to the HP EVO/Lightning. Looks like they're made by the same manufacturer and branded differently?

Mungro just had this problem with some wheels and he hacked off a portion of the axle. Otherwise you could try some spacers. Make sure they are hubcentric, though. GL.

do you guys think if I cut the axle off right after the cotter pin, and put a 5mm spacer it will be enough? Actually, if someone would tell me how much 5mm is I could figure it out. I just don't have any clue to how big 5mm is.
