for anyone with 20in rims on 06
recently brought a new 06sl and now the wifey is looking at 20inch rims. the question is how much of a ride change is the 20in compared to stock. the sl comes with 17 and they say that you can go up 2 inchs with no problems. so i know that the se has 18 and theyre the same car except for shocks and springs i believe. would a 20inch give the hard rent a car feel. i know they look nice but she doesnt want to lose to much ride quality. for the price the 18 and 20 are about the same. just dont know what to do. if anyone has 20 and can say how the ride is it will be much appreciated. oh and do you get any excess interior noise from the 20. i know has tires get smaller the ride gets worst. any help will be much appreciated

TIS makes some sweet wheels. I opted to stay with 18's since I'm dropped on Progress springs I knew the ride would be stiffer. There IS a difference in the ride quality, good and bad but thats the difference between sporty and luxury.
Post some pics when you get them put on!

I have 20 inch Axis wit Toyo's. In my opinion the ride quality stayed the same for me, but i have an SE so the ride quality was already hard to begin with. But i'd sacrifice a lil quality for great looks.
