Friend of mine want to sell his rim, I am thinking to get it.
18x8-35 offset front 18x9-37 offset rear

1) will it fit (I think so, want to confirm)
2) with lowered car (Tein H) 235/45/18fr 245/45/18rr rub (I know it the size was off, I try to retend as much comfort as possible)
3) how to determine the comfort of tire? side height yes I know, what about the width? it is increase of width of tire increase room for more air (more air cushion 225/45/18 vs 235/45/18)?

I know it is a lot of question, can't have both of world, but I need to know to gain more knowledge before I pull the trigger. Thanks

btw, I had did the offset caculate vs my current 00SE 17x7:
front - 3mm less inner clearance
front - 23mm extend out
rear - 18mm less inner clearance
rear - 32mm extend out

 

The front should fit with relatively no problems.

The rear might have issues (rubbing). Especially with 245/45/18

I think it looks good. Experience with it: none.

If it's a friend trying to sell them to you maybe you could mount them on your car and take a test drive with them first.

~Not sure whether the width makes alot of difference in the comfort (probably yes) but larger outer tire diameter definitely makes the ride better. But keep in mind, larger outer diameter makes it harder to accelerate and to slow down. Fuel mileage will also decrease.

 

If anything i would put the 18x9-37 in front since you will get more traction. Good luck with the fitment.

 

Thanks everybody, I just past the sale, don't want too many issue with it. Maybe stick with my 18" Max sE wheel (a little bore).
