I Need Feedback on Tire Sizes!!!
I have a 97 Max dropped with Tein H-Techs, and Tokico Blues...
My current tire/rim size all around is 225/40/18.
I'm getting two brand new tires from a friend. The size is 245/45/18. I was thinking about putting them for my rear rims to get a slight staggered and slanted look. I'm hoping that it can give my car a rear wheel drive look.
What are your opinions..Good or Bad?
and if anyone has done anything similar to what im thinking about. please post or send me pics of your ride.

my aftermarket suspension has dramatically improved my acceleration. So im thinking if i raise my rear end an inch with higher profile tires in the rear. It should also decrease the front end rising under hard acceleration some more.
This is why i want as many people to give me there opinions before i do anything

Hmm...
I have a feeling that your rears might rub when going over bumps and stuff with the 245/45 tires even if you don't have passengers in the back if you are dropped. It's not by much, but just enough to mess up the edge of the tires unless you have your rear fenders rolled.

Go ahead and try it, but a) it's not going to improve your acceleration one bit and b) I hope you don't have ABS as it will be constantly activating itself if you do.
RWD "look" on a FWD car is stupid IMO. I actually have wider tires in the front than rear for that reason.
