trying to get es motor mountsin..

So I read somewhere that you're supposed to burn the old rubber out of the metal framing. Well, it looks like theres a metal part in there that will be in my way if I try to put the new filling in there... How did people get this done...
I burned the thing out in my alley... people were starring, took me a good 2 hours, and now it doesnt look like it was the right thing to do

your supposed to now take a hacksaw or dremel and cut the ring. then you a big screw driver to break it out.

Easiest way would have been to find a machine shop to press it out
