AWESOME rims

While I was at the autocross this weekend, a black RX8 drove up and had these gorgeous rims. I ran over and inspected them. The owner said they were Volk GT-7 2 piece rims. The middle piece was gloss black and looked stunning. I prced them out and unfortunately they are REEEAALLY expensive at about $2500-3000 for a set of 18 or 19 inch rims What do you guys think of these rims on my car?

DO IT, those rims are stunning. VOLK and Rays are allways competing with eachother for top honors. (same brand diff divisions)

On your max the VOLKS deserve the honor. If not, go with MONOBLOCK ultralight weight.

Ohh how are your tires holding up? What rubber and tread size are you on?

I don't know, the rims look fine, what would you gain with this somewhat expensive upgrade....I think the ones you already have are great and so far I think your MAX looks best in the entire forum, not to say there aren't nice rides over here...but yours tops it. Your call.

I don't like them. Too busy for me (I don't like the slots and the "bolted" on spokes).

I like the ones you have on your car now.

One of a few Volks I don't care for. But they are competition wheels; 3-piece, strong ,and light weight.

I agree with the wiser sex on this one

Get 19" Nismos, VERY LIGHT and a great set of TOYO RA-1 Racing Tires.

For the same $$.

SAVY?

Can anyone photoshop those rims onto my car? I think you all would be surprised to see how good they look.

The ones that you have now are way nicer looking than the black ones. The black ones are decent but the bronze ones that you have now look much better imo.

I have the Volk SF Challenges on my Z. Their forged 2 pc GT series is great. However for a Maxima I'd have to go with the Volk GT-C's. They come in 20" and would look much better than 19's IMO. The best part about getting a set of Volks is you could have them stagger the offsets to run a bigger lip in the rear without having to get wider rims. In other words a starggered look without the drawbacks of actually putting staggered rims on a FWD car.

I think your current rims look far, far better....gloss black wheels on a black maxima are just a bit too much, especially with a polished lip

...even if they are Volks

damn, If I had the money, I would buy them in a Sec. Those are dead sexy.

Anyway, I don't think I could buy Rims that are half the price of my car. Also, What would someone use for security on those? I remember having to do with lugs in the past that had keys on them, but we were always able to take them off.

Could you buy really nice lugnuts that are nearly impossable to take off without a key?

I agree with the VOLK GT-C's on a max, not those.

I had Volk GTCs and TE37s. I didn't like GTCs that much but I love the TE37s. Quick shot of GTCs.

I like those wheels, but they won't compliment your car at all. The way the bronze comes out in yours now makes your car look awsome. If you get the other wheels your car will just blend together and be sorta blahhh. Stay the same.
