New Tire from Goodyear...Eagle ResponsEdge...anyone heard anything about them?

I saw an ad for these tires in C&D this month...wondering if anyone has had any feedback/heard anything about these tires? Be interesting to see if they are really all they are hyped up to be.

Eagle ResponsEdge
Precise Handling And Luxury Performance with a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Sidewall
The Goodyear Eagle featuring ResponsEdge Technology is a tire for Performance Touring drivers who desire crisp maneuverability and handling without sacrificing a smooth, quiet ride. The outer sidewall is reinforced with Carbon Fiber cords that stiffen the sidewall and help deliver a better feel for the road, while an InsuLayerTM made with DuPontTM KEVLARŽ helps absorb road noise and vibration.

I was looking into these tires recently. For my factory 05 se max... they don't make them (245/45/18) ... although they make tires for 17's.

The factories ones Eagle RS-A seem pretty good overall... just hard to find around here where i live

Are you getting them to replace the tires you have on your car when you got it? I'm sure it'll be a world of a difference performance wise! Let us know how they work out!

I am looking for a STICTLY COMFORT tire...these seem to fit the bill. I am debating between these, the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S, and Bridgestone Turanza's...

I am leaning more towards the Turanza's as of this point in time, but uncertain abou them as I hav heard about people having difficutley balancing htme.

I doubt you will be happy with Pirelli P-Zero if you are looking for comfortable tires. They have probably the the stiffest sidewall out of all all-season tires.

BTW, why not consider Toyo proxes 4? They are VERY comfortable, predictable, and have a very good traction is both wet and dry. I keep them at 42psi and the ride is still better than with stock potenzas at 34psi.

I just got these eagles today. Haven't had a chance to push it any, or test it in the rain but I hear they work well. Will post back later.

These are suppose to be for more spirited drivers...tested to be better than the michelin pilot sport a/s.

I'm getting these Respone Edge tires installed tomorrow morning. Been waiting a month for these. Can't wait to ride them.

Got these installed about 5 months ago, and love them. Compared to my previous tires (michelin pilot sport a/s) their quieter and before my drop the ride was better the the pilots. traction is good in both dry and rain, the pilots i don't really remember cause i had them worn down in the center like crazy

They cushion a lot more than the stock potenza re92s. feel stiff when taking off ramps at like 45mph.

No sliding when changing lanes when wet at about 60-70mph. Don't notice any noise...but I don't really care about it since I don't drive without the radio too much.

Just wondered if anyone else had any experiences with these tires. I'm looking to replace the tires on my Max real soon and these are looking like the tires I'm going to be buying. After my wife slid into a guard rail this last winter, she's insisting on new tires that will handle better in the snow. In KC we don't really get that much snow, so I don't want a tire dedicated to winter.
