Widest tire and rim combo

alright i need some help guys, im going to be buying new rims and i need to know which width and offset will work.

the wheels are Work Emotion CR KAI, for sure i want 18" rims, i think its a good compromise of performance and looks.

The available sizes are

18x7.5, 5x114.3, +48 +42 +35.

18x8.5, 5x114.3, +43 +38 +37 +32 +25 +20

18x9.5, 5x114.3, +38 +30 +20 +12.

Im leaning towards the 18x8.5 but im not sure what offset will work. Id like the rims to sit flush with the body and still be able to turn the wheel all the way without rubbing.

Also my tire size im thinking of is 255/40/18, or 245/40/18.

what would you guys reccomend? Also for my tire choice im looking at falken azenis RT-615's but im also looking at the toyo proxes t1s or t1r.

Thanks
Chris

I'd go with the 18x8.5, with 245/40/18 tires. 255's would be a smidge wide for an 8.5" width. +37 or +38 would sit just about flush with the front fender.

Between +35 and +40 it should be flush.

I would use the 8.5 +38 front, I've run a 8.5 +40 and thought it was about perfect. The rear could use less offset to sit flush ( front track width is wider than the rear) or a small spacer so you can rotate the tires.
