Will these fit alright on my 98 max w/ stock suspension?
17X7 wheels (5 spoke, 10 holes), 48 offset
on 215/45/17 tires

I've got 8" wide rims with 40 offset on my 97 and no problems. If you do the math I think the outside plane of those rims should be roughly the same as mine.

I was wrong. Accorind to the "sticky" offset calculator, your wheels won't stick out nearly as much as mine do, but my wheels do envelope yours (they both stick out and in farther), so you should still be okay.
