The GoodYear tires SUCK

I hate these GoodYear's with a passion. The first bad thing was at 26k miles when all 4 "dry rotted" and the sidewalls were blown. 4k miles later at 30k, the left front passenger goes flat! What a piece of **** tires. I hate them. Just got the spare on and goodyear said take it to them. And if they say your total is.......I'm not paying them.

Can't wait to get my new rims & new tires. These SUCK.

You have a rather large collection of cars; sell one and purchase some decent tires.

The RSA's suck. Known fact. Go over to the tire forum and you'll learn about good ones to go with next.

MY BFG KDW's are awesome!

THey wear like iron though...aside from the sidewall cracks I didnt have a problem with them, but I wasn't driving on defective tires so I got rid of them.

I agree 100% these RSA are the worst tires I have ever owned and to think Nissan actually put them on the Maxima should be a crime. I was looking over at tire rack and considering a set of the Avalons, they seem to be rated real good.

I've got 15k on mine and they seem to be doing fine, actually debating whether or not I should drop a grand on new tires when these seem to be fine, they could have better wet traction and when they heat up they seem to lengthen stopping distance but I compensate for that.

I looked at Tirerack and I would probably go with the Yokohama ADVAN S.4.

I had a set of Avon Tech M550s. The worst tire in the noise area. It starts around 12Kmiles. If not for the low price, I would pick the RSA over it (and I'm not a Goodyear fan). I have the Yoko S4s now and very happy. I hope it remains quiet down the road.

Don't know what experiences anybody has had with them on a Max, but I have been extremely pleased with the Pirelli P-Zero Nero's I put on my S60 T5 (235/45-17)

Stick wet & dry... ~15k miles on them and still look new and still quiet. M&S rated for those that need it (hasn't snowed here in 2 years so I can't comment on snow traction). Not THE cheapest but not too bad. Very good customer reviews & ratings on Tire Rack.

They should not charge you anything if you have the car for less than a year. I had over 36,00 miles when I had that problem and was charged 200 dollars fror 4 new tires.

The KDW's are on my wish list (available at Costco). Everybody is happy with the grip but are the sidewalls much stiffer (ride comfort) and are they quieter/noiser than the RSA's?

I have 25K miles on my RSA's and not a single problem so I have no complaints yet.

nothing new, just look at the ratings on the tirerack. Just swapped it for BFGoodrich TDW with the wicked tread and they are awesome. My RSAs after 30K miles looked like drag racing slicks. Guys at COSTCO were shocked when they took 'em off

16k is no time to be rating those tires.

RS-As suck whether at 5K or 30K. They just slip like crazy. Once it rains its best to leave it parked or stay withing speed limits.
