What happens if I go from 45mm wheels to 50mm wheels?

I have an I35 Sport... my stock wheels are 17 x 7, 45mm
I bought new wheels that are 17 x 7, 50mm

Do I have to worry about the wheel hitting my calipers or anything?

Caliper clearance has more to do with spoke design than offset.

That said, [typically] wheels with lower offsets allow for better caliper clearance.

Really the only way to find out will be to either measure or put them on and find out.

In all likelihood, you'll be ok. The stock sport wheels had like 50mm of clearance between the inside of the spokes and the outside of the caliper. Losing 5mm won't hurt you - IF the spokes on the new wheels are of similar design.

depends on the wheel.....my new wheels i just got are 43mm offset and the ones i have now are 40mm and the 43mm ones actually have more clearence for calipers cause of the spokes....but thats not always true....best guess is to test fit if u can....
