Do higher tyres increase top speed if yes how much in 4th gen Max?

Um, no.... It may look like you're going faster if the taller aspect ratio makes your speedometer read faster than you're actually going.

actually, they do increase top speed...but take longer to get there. Of course, with our cars top speed is pretty much drag-limited, so I doubt he'd see any gains at all.

Why anyone cares about top speed is beyond me

Why anybody cares top speed?
In Europe top speed is the issue!
Germany is the only country in the world where you can drive officially top speed without limit!!!!
And here in Estonia, many drivers have tested their car top speed in motorway also!
Even we as ex-soviet country organize comp. like One Mile Challenge for toüp speed!
