After ruining the finish on my stock GLE wheels i have decided to purchase a set of 03 TE wheels. I am wondering will i have any problems with installing these on my car since its a GLE and the wheels are from an SE? Also would i have to use touring tires instead of high performance with my car being a GLE? Will touring tires fit on TE wheels?

 

You can use whatever tires you like, as long as they fit on your rim.

 

yes, they will fit with absolutely no problems. If you have the stock 215/55/17 tires and want to re-use them, they will fit fine on your new TE wheels, but the next time you buy tires, get 225/50/17.
