Stock 97-99 SE rims are 45mm offset so it should be fine...

thanks, would that mean these would stick out further from the fender or be pushed closer up under the fender if that makes sense ? not sure looking at some lightweight wheels and was trying to see if they would be the correct fit

is this information true or false ?

Wheels that fit on a Maxima have to have a bolt pattern of 5 x 114.3 or 5 x 4.5 (in inches) with between a 35-40mm offset. For offsets greater than 40, spacers and longer lugs can be used to prevent the rim from rubbing on the suspension arms or inner wheel well with wide wheels.

It will depend how WIDE the rim is with 40-45mm offset.... That number is just the distance to the "centerline" of the rim from the mounting surface... Even if you move it way out (30mm) it COULD still rub on the inside if get a 11" wide rim... I hope that made sense...

But for your size I doubt if it will rub on the inside... you could always turn "out" the turn "stops" on the lower control arms to prevent that anyways at the cost of turning radius.

With those specs, you will probably be able to run 10-15mm spacers easily. A 7.5 inch wide wheel fits well with a ~+30 offset in the front and +20 to +25 in the rear.

i'm currently running 16x8 with a 42 offest and they fit fine with no rubbbing. The front is CLOSE to rubbing the struts. I can probably get 2 fingers in there snug. The front wheels sit flush with the fender, but the rear are still tucked in a bit so i'm getting either a 5 or 15mm spacer would flush it out.

Z32 wheels are 16x7.5 +45, you won't have any problems with a +42

look at the pic link with my sig for pics with Z32 wheels
