New question...225/60/16's..rub?

Anyone on the board know if 225/60/16's will rub on a 5.5 gen?

I'm really not too sure...as I've seen 225/55/17's with no rubbing...
and now going up to a 60 but rim size down to a 16...

Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks

You might rub. The stock tire size diameter is 25.9 while the 225/60/16 is 26.6. There is very little room with the stock wheel/tire setup on the 5.5 gen. So basically stay as close to stock diameter as you can.

I think if you have to go for 16's get 225/55/16. That is almost an identical diameter to the stock tire size which is what you want. The diameter of 225/55/16 is 25.7.
