oem wheel color

Hey gang, I'm having my oem 16" SE wheels on my 98 Max blasted to remove the damaged finish, mostly from the elements and lack of attention from the previous owner. I've read the sticky on how to repaint the wheels, but I want to return them to as close to the stock color as possible. Any suggestions that are credible would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.

duplicolor silver wheel paint would probably be pretty close.

p.s. your first post was only up for 8 hours... the wheels&tires forum isn't that busy, give it some time.

yeah you;re right, SE first...didnt mean to seem anxious. I had seen that dupli-color spray paint in the auto parts store, but didnt know if it was any good or not. I may give it a shot. I suppose they make a clear coat as well.

I just picked up my sandblasted wheels from the shop today, down to the bare aluminum. they look good and clean...all ready to be painted and cleared. I plan to tend to them this weekend...so if anyone has any good suggestions on how and what kind of paint is best, I'm open to any other ideas.
