What tire sizes for: 16X7 5-114.3 40HB 5 Zigen Rx-6

What tire sizes do I need for 96 SE Maxima:

Specs are listed as: 16X7 5-114.3 40HB

If I click on them they also state those same rims as 16X7 5-114.3mm / 5-4.5"

Rims are 5 Zigen Rx-6

Would the tire size of:
Kumho
Ecsta SPT (33504)

215/55R-16 97W BSW work? I think there was also a 225 option. The store I'm buying from reccomended the 215.

Finally I'm not planning to lower for now but the 16" rims shouldn't look to bad from the stock 15s? I've heard of 17 and 18 looking pretty gappy with no lowering.

Hey I didn't know you had this thread here, or I would have helped you sooner. We didn't talk about tire size when we met, probably because you already bought them. I have 215/55-16 on my wheels and that is the best size to keep the speedo correct. Sounds like you went with those anyway. Can't wait to see what they look like.

225/50/16 is my recommendation. little more tire, sidewall is almost exactly the same height. works great and there is a HUGE selection of tires to fit.

215/55/16 on stock 16x6.5 so you should stick with 215/55 or 225/50, a 7" wheel it pretty narrow so anything bigger would bulge. On the stock wheel I like the 215/55 size much better.

thanks all! I did go for the 215s.

Just got a call from discount tire today and the wheels and rims arrived several days early
