+1 for General Exclaims

Now I know it takes a little while for tires to break in but initial thoughts - holy crap. I JUST tonite got them on (245/40/18) on my 18 x 8 Konig Villains and went for a little spirited driving. First off I can stop muuuuuuuuch better with the BBK, probably mostly due to the fact that my old tires were really shot. As I was entering the highway (one of those 270 degree turns that your supposed to take at 30) well we'll just say I was at 5.5-6 grand in 2nd gear through the whole turn and never broke loose - it was unbelievable. For 116 dollars a tire, YOU CANNOT BEAT IT. 380 treadwear rating too, so Ill report back in a few weeks on wear and such. Oh, no noise and a very smooth ride. Suspension mods assisting such grip listed in sig

I got a set a few weeks ago based on price and good reviews. They ride much better than I expected and the handling is great. Very quiet and a softer ride than the worn out Bridgesotne Potenzas they replaced. 235/45/17 size. I paid $500 total at Discount Tire including mounting/balance/road hazard/free replacement. I'm happy so far...

The general exclaims are good tires too, I drove a 350z with the stock re04's which had about 60% left and they had them replaced with the general exclaim UHPs, made a big difference, although the RE04's are pretty crappy.

The Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105 are nice tires too, i just got a set on my 5.5 gen to replace my dead re92's(20% left on fronts). The difference is amazing, i actually have some confidence going into turns and can take off much more easily from lights. I got mine for 133CAD (114USD) you cannot go wrong. I was looking at the pilot sport a/s and i can get 2 of these tires for the price of one of those.

I'm running 245/40/18 for about 2 months plus now and I have to agree they ride well and grip. Bang for the buck

I'm glad you guys like them. My friend put some on his STI replacing the stock RE070s ... major down grade in traction and steering feel. They do ride nice and smooth, very soft side walls. I don't think they are bad tires, just not the right choice for a STI. I think the hardcore performance guys would be disappointed in them.... just my 2cents.
