22x9.5" KMC Dime - Will these fit?

Alright....

Specs are

Size: 22x9.5
Finish: Black
Bolt Pattern 1:
Bolt Pattern 2: 5x114.3
Offset: 12

Will these fit? And just to confirm, the offset is low, so that means i'd have more lip? I'mma newb to rims, so pardon me.

I know there might be rubbing, willing to cut to make it work though.

Now i've seen some1 with the 20" Dimes, but had almost no lip.... i'm assuming that's because the 20"s on the same site has 2 versions.

Size: 20x8.5
Finish: Black
BP1: 5x114.3
BP2:
Offset: 10

and

Size: 20x8.5
Finish: Black
BP1: 5x114.3
BP2:
Offset: 38

So i'm assuming they went with the 38 offset.

this is the site if any1 interested http://www.tiresdelivered.com/

Thanks all

The offset is the position of the wheel/lug hole hub relative to the center-line of the wheel. Lower offset sticks out MORE. Higher offset is more recessed into the fender. Generally, with a lower offset wheel, you will have more lip.

Even if you somehow managed to cram 22's under the fenders of a Maxima (not likely to be possible or good looking), those wheels will stick out of the fender a good inch or two.

..... nagh def have to tuck em. Damn it.... I really need to educate myself on rims.

Thanks though.

Would the 20"s work with the 12mm offset?

You can run 15x9.5 with a 12 offset and it will stick out. Only width matters when referring to offset. 9.5" width with +12 offset WILL stick out.

Ok... i Think i'm understanding it now.

Yea I know height isn't the main concern.

So ok...

I take the Backspace [mount surface and back?] (what is the backspace of the Max? I'll look it up, but feel free to share) and subtract the desired wheel width to get how far from mount point out the wheel sticks. And accomodate the fact that the offset is from mountpoint of the wheel to the middle of the wheel....

So....I can still get lip even with high + offsets, they just would happen to be those beveled rims, where the center protrudes out a bit....

I think i'm understanding it now. correct me if i'm wrong.

In that case, i might be considering the TIS 07
Size: 22x8.5
Finish: Chrome
BP1: 5x4.5
BP2: 5x4.25
Offset: 40

The offset and width sounds good. But you're on your own for the wheel diameter. 22" might barely clear only for a 6th gen, but I would not put my money on it.

6th gens are able to clear but it's mad close and I'm sure they are rubbing at every corner they take.

Overall you should go with a 20 x 8.5 or 20 x 9 with a 38 offset. It will look a lot better. Not to mention you'll save yourself the headache of replacing your brakes, transmission, etc...

Oh... by the way I've got some Chrome 20's for sale. These will fit your car perfectly. Check out my homepage for the pics.

Rims: 20 x 8.5 Zinik Adrians
Tires: Nitto 555 extremes 245 / 35 / ZR20's
Offset: 38mm 2" lip on all four.
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 114.3

yes, it will be a problem. Your engine will think it looks terrible and will die laughing.

Seriously though....22's will really make your car slow as hell and the extra rotational mass will put more of a strain on your hubs, bearings, and CV axles. The extra unsprung weight will put alot of stress on other suspension components and make for a terrible ride and handling.

20s are already borderline...22's would be a massive downgrade in performance and putting stress on the drivetrain.

Most people on here can give 2 ****s about ride quality, handling, and performance when selecting rims. I still cant get over the number of retarded 6th gen owners who go crazy spending money on fuel management systems, pulleys, headers, exhaust systems, intakes, ECUs etc..etc...then slap on 20" or 22" rims

like who?

I'd say most ppl that put 20s or 22s prefer looks over gaining .02 secs on the 60. Most people with 20s and 22s don't do that much (not like THAt much could be done to the max anyway). Ride Quality .... ok, Handling.... arguable, and performance... sure they change. But the Max ain't getting that much faster, and ain't lossing that much speed for person like me 2 be worried.

But that's my personal opinion.

Going wid some 20s.
