17s or 18s on a 4th gen?

I'm getting wheels soon for my 99, I was wondering whether I should get 17s or 18s, the wheels I'm looking at are 6-spokes with a bit of a lip, so I'm worried tat 17s will look too small, and I've seen some 18s that look too big, post pics of your 4th gen with 17s or 18s if you will.

Thanks guys

pick it also depending on the type of roads in your area... bad roads might dictate using 17" for extra sidewall to prevent damage and comfort...

The style of the wheel also affect the way it looks on the car (i.e. looks too big or too small).

It all depends on the design of the rim. I find that some wheels look better bigger and some look better smaller.

roads aren't horrible around here, they're nice at best and bearable at worst

here's a pic of the rims:

Lightweight 17s win by far IMO, but it's your car...

Not on me (I'm rocking 16s) but Akumachan's 4th gen with 17*8 FN01R-Cs looks pretty mean. If my camera wasn't 300 miles away I'd go snap a pic of his car and post it up...

17's in the pic and in my sig. I like the look of 17's, but everyone seems to favor large wheels these days, so most people go for 18's.

BTW, why only 7" wide? If you're buying new wheels, get 8" at least.

i have 18x7.5 in my sig, i went with 245/40/18 for my tire because the roads in P.A. are kinda bad, but if you get a bigger sidewall you should be fine with 18's if your roads are bad.
