i had just finished putting my bumper on and i noticed that on my rear tire there was a screw...
would be safe for me to just pull that out. or should i take it to a store for them to fix it?
thanks for any help

Don't pull it out, the tire will start to loose air fast. Take it to a shop, they can patch the tire. When it happened to me i drove to the shop with the screw in it because the shop wasn't too far away and the tire still had air in it. Your probably loosing air but very slowly, thats probably why the tire hasn't gone flat yet.

wait before u do anything
where is the screw located in the tire ? if its the sidewall, the tire is garbage, if its between the thread then fix it with what MyGreenMax94 pointed u to. i never leave home without one of those as well. Also i got one of those inflation cans, it pours some kinda yellow/green liquid into the tire and it seeps out where the hole is if u cant locate it.

Have a shop fix it. How you get the tire there is up to you. If you want to drive there on it, leave it in. If you're going to just bring the wheel there, you can pull it out.
The correct way to fix a hole like that, assuming it's not in the sidewall, is to have the shop dismount the tire, patch from the inside and remount it. Home plug kits are fine but they're not really the correct way to fix a hole in the tire.

ask them to do a patch plug instead of a regular patch or plug. The patch plug is more effective for the longrun and is better for the tire in the long run. You might pay a bit more but you cant put a price of piece of mind at hwy speeds. Trust me on this, i used to patch plug dsst vette tires and ive NEVER had one leak.

If your car is at home and you have a spare, just pull it out and see what happens. I've pulled a couple of screws/nails out of my tires and the tire did not deflate. Apparently in my case the screws/nails were not deep enough.

Thanks for the sugesstions. after taking out the tire, i let it bouce on the floor and the head (top flat part of the screw) fell off... it was just the head with not even a quarter of inch of the actuall shaft of the screw that was holding it on to the tire... fell off.. tire seems fine..

most of the time you barley loose any air from you tire while a nail or screw is stuck in there...ive had a nail in my tire up to a month and checked my tire pressure daily and it was the same everytime...the annoying clicking noise everytime you ride over it was probly the only reason why i pluged it
