Anyone weighed FN01R-C, RPF1, SSR Competition (type C)?

Alright, so sometime in the future I'll be looking for some lightweight 17*9s that will fit over a 2k4/Z32 BBK.

I'm not going to spend a royal assload of money, so I'm looking at decently cheap wheels as well. So far I've narrowed it down to:

Kosei K1-TS (Advertised 15.6lbs, ~$250, 17*9J +38)

5zigen FN01R-C (Advertised 17lbs, ~$200, 17*9J +35)

Enkei RP-F1 (Advertised 15.9lbs, ~$250, 17*9J +35)

SSR Competitions (Advertised 15.2lbs, ~$420+, 17*9J +40)

I was leaning towards the FN01R-Cs mainly because of price, however, I've read that they're actually closer to 19.5lbs than the advertised 17lbs (as confirmed on their website )

Now for the point of the thread. Has anybody personally weighed any of these wheels? I'd like to know the ACTUAL weight.

If anybody's wondering, I'm leaning much more towards RP-F1s as I like their style and I think ET35 is pretty much the perfect offset for a 17*9J on a 4th gen. (price of the SSR comps doesn't help either)

my 17x8 fno1r-c actually weigh in just a hair under 17lbs. Weighed on a bathroom digital scale, but it's usually pretty accurate.

Yeah, but the 17*9s are 19-20lbs. I need an UPGRADE from the Z32 wheels, which I'm pretty sure are about 20lbs.

However it is good to know that at least the 5zigen website is being honest. Thanks for the info y0!

Really? Do you recall who it was?

I know Z32Drifter has a set, but they're 17*8.5 or 8 and 17*9.5..

BTW Mardigras has some 17x8.5 Comps for sale right now with Michelin Pilots for a helluva price. If I didn't already have them myself, I'd be buying those.

They're 17*8, and yes, an unbelievable price. Unfortunately it's still more than I can afford, which at the moment is nothing.

WOW I didn't know I was banned...lol
the 17x8.5s are just over 16lbs and the 17x9.5s were right at 16lbs. The weight diff is in the wheel design. I would expect the 17x9 to be in the same range.

(I have not been over here for a week or so, I've been doing research on future boost. Sorry guys I think the pair of GT28rs I've been looking at would be wasted on the Maxima)

More than one z32drifter with RPF1s ...small world. I expected as much since the other screen name had a capital Z and D. I know there was another 4th gen guy with RPF1s ...1fastmax IIRC. He had 17x9s a few years ago.

One note on the 17x9 +35 the rear wheel looks perfect but the front will stick out about 5mm.
17x9 +34 with a 255/40/17

Since you're clearly in violation of your ban, I am reporting you to all moderators and administrators.

I have the 17x8.5 RPF1's...nothing but praise thus far...they seem to be one of the only affordable, wide, good offset, proven strong (they are used in speed world challenge series), and lightweight wheels out there these days...everything else that is as light is either forged=way too expensive or heavier and weak...stories of cracked spokes after a hard track weekend, etc.

nonetheless, every wheel mentioned in the first post have an outstanding track record...I don't think you can go wrong with anyone of them...

Yeah, he was referring to someone else. I know it'll stick out a bit in front, I was actually looking at your pictures before. I currently have 16*8.5 +35 on the car and they're just a tiny bit short of flush. I'd be alright putting some 245 or 255/40s on 17*9ET35s, it should look fine--nice and aggressive. Also keep in mind those Victoracers are going to have a wider tread in any given tire size than a regular street tire that I'll be running--255s should be stretched in a bit, and 245s just a bit more.

Any pictures of them mounted? Post 'em up.

I'll definitely be going with the RPF1s when I get the cash, however I'm not sure when that will be.

I have the SSR's in 17x7.5. I know not exactly what you're looking for but on my bathroom scale at home they weigh 13lbs each.

Actually he hated those wheels, and only kept them for the lightweight and strength. They are ugly in most fitments!
But the 17x9's are about 15.5 lbs.

Couldn't be original enough to get a different wheel or at least proper 5th gen sizes huh?

I got owned by peter...lol...now I will have to own you on the MCC forums (you know me being the admin and creater and all...lol...j/k

unfortunately (and as many of us know & appreciate) a lot of wheels that might look good, severely comprimise performance by adding a tremendous amount of unsprung weight...

if you want the fn01r-c look, but not the weight, and have the money, 5zigen makes a forged version--the fn01r (w/o the "c"), but they don't come in many sizes like the cast version...

it had nothing to do with being orginal, I just looked at what was in my price range and what people were suggesting/using at the track and it's specs...plus I got them for wholesale...
