Wheel painting

Has anybody who has painted their wheels had tires mounted since then?? Did the paint get scratched up around the lip? Did you have to repaint? I guess it's not THAT big of a deal if you do, I usually only get a new set of tires every year and a half.

i just painted my rims but cant seem to figure out how to get that glossy look... They seem duller than the original finish.
