Wheel refinishing

Can any of you recommend a local SoCal shop that can refinish my wheels? I let my rims sit for a few years and well I guess the finish over the machined lip is peeling. It looks like its possibly a gloss coat. I'm not sure if this is something I may be able to do myself. The gunmetal is still looking good...its just the lip. Any ideas?

Someone recommended me these guys, but I personally have not used them because of their high prices (either that, or I am just too broke and stingy to afford them).

If you can post a pic of what it looks like that may help too.

You can do it yourself too. Just requires sanding and re-clearing. Otherwise I would suggest mother mags polish. But it is time consuming so if you have the $$ go ahead and get it refinished by the pros
