Spacer question / what to buy
I have a 02 se
Just bought a set of G35 sport sedan wheels
18 x7.5 / 45mm offset
The center caps do not fit.
Spindles stick out too far up front and dust caps get in the way on the back.
I was thinking spacers should give me the clearance I need as well as flushing wheels with the car body.
I have no experience in this arena so not sure what to get.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks.

I had a set of wheel that presented a similar problem; this is how I solved it.
On the front, I cut several threads off the axle end. Don't be alarmed, this still left a couple of threads past the cotter pin hole. On the rear, I simply massaged the dustcap in with a deadblow hammer. Removing it is a no-no, it lets in dust & water to the already fragile rear bearings.
Sad fact is I still needed a 1/8" spacer to create the final clearance. This allowed the lugnuts about six or so turns, enough to be safe.
