i'm a fan of big wheels (have a set of 19s arriving today), but i really like these. i will run them with coilovers. 17x8.5 + 30mm. i have decided to go sport/lux with my project instead of a vip styled look (i plan on buying an i30 for that). car is super black and will have carbon fiber details. any pics of 17s with coilovers or low drops (sprints, s techs) would be appreciated.

 

17's with a minor lip will look like 16". Go 18's with a lip and they will look fine.

 

i considered that, but because it's a step lip rather than a flat lip it should hold its size.

I am also getting another set of 17s, not sure if i should get 17x7 or 17x8 any suggestions? Theres a 1.5 pound difference in them. I have a 5th gen and currently have a set of 17x7 kazera kz-v i am getting rid of that handle fine in turns. I am trying to get faster quarter mile times and am trying to save any weight possible. Your opinions guys?
